We recieved the phone call that we were chosen as adoptive parents on March 9th by a wonderful birthmom in Texas. Next week we travel to Texas to meet the birthmom for the first time - at this point it has all been e-mail and photographs so having a conversation will be terrific! Our bundle of joy is due on May 30th - of course babies have their own calendars and she will arrive whenever she is ready.
We are hoping to use this blog as a place to share stories and photographs of our journey into parenthood.

Oh how exciting! I see a full summer of photographing Althea in every single Old Port establishment - - perhaps a calendar could evolve! These are the gifts that the next generation needs when they turn 18 and think they're sneaking into Dewey's for the first time.
