Oh my God. Dogs.

So you can't go see Mary and Jeff Wysong without seeing the dogs. Here are some of my favorite shots - I took almost 80 shots of the dogs, I know I am obsessive about dogs, can't help it.

Hey Ivar, how's the grass man?

Gives new meaning to the term "running mates". This is Ivar and Gouda.

Awhh... I love my little Trumpet doggie - I may have to doggienap him soon.

Althea shares our obsession with and love for dogs. She crawled under Filson to get to her toy, no fear.

Then she had some bonding time with the Filson dog - by the wink and the smile I'd say he enjoyed it too!

A visit to the mountain

We took a trip to Mt. Rainier with Jeff Wysong - wicked fun I tell ya... So here are some shots in the park, those are the Cascades behind Althea, the wild Rockwell Kent like trees and then of course there are the Rainier photos...
Enjoy!

Pike's Place

Okay so this one is not Pike's Place - it is Will and Jay's place. Althea had a - well she umm - she needed a bath.

The classic Pike's Place tourist photo - we actually had to wait to take a photo here...
Needs no explaination...

Seattle

On Saturday we went to the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) Sculpture Garden. The site is beautifully designed in downtown Seattle along the waterfront - it utilizes the built environment of Seattle's ever expanding landscape of buildings and roads and manages to frame the unframable. (yes I just made up that word)

These massive sculptures looked like brown paper bags from above (you could see into them from the steps of the amphitheatre) - when you approach them the resemblance to waves becomes apparent, but so does the ship hull feeling and the canyon feeling.

Matt and Althea enjoy some interactive artwork.

Is that a bench or is it part of the art?
Are we really supposted to be sitting here?

Will poses in front of this massive wall created with glass and some sort of photographic materials that changed color and shape as you walked past - making you part of the art, cool.

Aspiring to be the next great drummer.
