A few random photos

Okay so here is a smattering of images from the past couple of weeks...

On Labor Day we took a road trip to Grafton Notch (very cool). Here are Althea and Matt posing above Screw Auger Falls at one of the many parks along Grafton Notch.

I know the hat is way too big but she looked so cute peering out from underneath it!

Mrs. Fifield, Althea loves her baby blanket. This blanket has been accompanying her to daycare each day, she gets wrapped up in it for nap time and like magic she falls right to sleep.

A Visit to the Doctor

Matt took little Miss Althea to the doctor on Friday for her regular check-up, here are the updated stats on the little one:
Weight - 14 lbs and a couple ounces
Height/Length - 24"
She is right where she needs to be with her development and for that we are truly thankful. I need to upload photos from our trip to Grafton Notch over Labor Day weekend - hope to have those posted this weekend.

Timlin is the man

So last night we went to the Sox game - long story short it took me (Chris) three hours to get to Boston and boy were Althea and I hungry and cranky when we arrived. We met Matt at ACircle, our favorite spot for before game fair - however we arrived at ACircle in the 3rd inning. After a lovely meal and feeling much better we walked to the park - strolling in during the 6th inning was actually rather delightful. Okay, okay I'm getting to the Timlin part...

Melva (featured on the blog), our usher, is in love with Miss Althea. Melva decided that Mike Timlin needed to meet Miss Althea. "Mike, hey Mike!" "Hi Melva, what's up?" "I want you to meet my new friend." She gestures to Matt to stand up and walk to the edge of the bullpen fence. "This is Althea." "Hi Althea." "Timlin, will you sign my baby?" Yes, that is really what Matt said - he's been saying it for weeks, making fun of the can I have a ball kids we see every game. "Yeah, sure toss her over the fence." Yup, Timlin has a sense of humor. Miss Althea smiled away at him - she did not go over the fence - although Okie is still her main squeeze she thinks Timlin is the man!
